I FINALLY have a blog…..

I can’t begin to count the number of times I was asked if I had a blog and really just never spent any time on creating one. I finally decided that I needed a blog and here I am. I am not the best writer or the most interesting person for sure but hopefully I will have some visitors and will be able to share some of the things I enjoy.

I am of course a digital scrapbooker so there will lots of layouts, some new stuff posted about the fabulous designers I create for and maybe an occasional freebie here and there.

Cooking is another love of mine and my kitchen proves it lol! We haven’t been on a vacation in three years since we have my FIL and our 3 dogs to care for so Mike instead has bought me top of the line appliances and many fun gadgets I love. We enjoy cooking together also and we generally have dinner after everyone else is in bed. We like our food spicy and the family would pass out if we served much of what we eat! Tommy is the pickiest eater ever but he will generally eat what we cook for Grampa Tom and the girls but sometimes we actually cook 3 different dinners. We used to serve one meal at the table family style but it got crazy with the girls and their schedules, Tommy’s pickiness, and Grampa Tom’s needs after his last stroke. I would like to get back to it someday as i do think it is an important part of learning manners and appreciating what is placed on the plate in front of you!

Another love is baking and I am also learning a lot about cake decorating and trying to get better pictures of our food so I can post them here and make recipe layouts for a family cookbook.
